who we are
Established in 1976 in a modest design office on East Essex Street in Dublin’s chic south side, Libra Designs has developed into an international business at the forefront of the Irish Fashion Industry engaged in design, wholesale and retail. Our much more humble beginnings as a blouse manufacturer under the Libra label have become a remote but treasured memory as the brand has now expanded to house three ladies fashion labels; Libra, Riona and Arruba.

Libra is our original collection, based around coordinated occasion wear, for the woman looking for distinctive style from an exclusive brand with a fashionable take to carry her from weddings to race meetings to evenings out as well as some key wardrobe essentials.

Riona is a complementary collection to the Libra label to meet the growing demand for a plus size fashion collection. With a broad size range from 16 to 26 and a good mix of fashion-led styles for occasion wear as well as daywear, this collection offers a one-stop-shop for the discerning customer.

Arruba was launched as the younger sister collection to the Libra label, offering directional and contemporary styling for the occasion wear market. The quirky finishes, unique fabrics and clever styling offer the designer look for a commercial price.
